Spice Route, Malabar

£38.95Price

Spice Route Malabar 2012 is the winery's seventh Malabar release since 2002. Each parcel of fruit that went into this release had to be carefully hand-selected as 2012 had a very low yield - a mere 2.6 tons of grapes per hectare. This makes Spice Route Malabar 2012, which has been four years in the making, a desirably uncommon wine. Harvest began during late March.

Spice Route, Malabar is layered and perfumed aromas of rich blackberry, plum, cacao and violets. Well integrated on the palate, with an opulent tannin structure and balanced mouth feel. A truly elegant wine with potential to age another decade.
