Dry - Minerality, spring flowers, baking spices, honey, and white peach. This delicious Godello offers white peach, melon, stone fruit, floral baking spice, with good minerality, vibrant acidity and honey. The "Valley of Bibei" (Municipio de O Bolo) in Valdeorras, Spain is known for growing Godello and has sandy soils that are very fertile and gives the grapes nice acidity. Rafael Palacios has 47 acres of Godello grape which he farms without chemicals in hopes of restoring the soils and land to its natural state. 100% Godello aged for 8 months in foudre. Medium straw-colored, it exhibits an enticing perfume of liquid minerality, spring flowers, baking spices, honey, and white peach. On the palate it has superb volume, bracing acidity, great concentration, impeccable balance, and a lengthy finish that belies its modest price. It is an outstanding value. - WA Pale yellow. Alluringly pure, mineral-dominated nose blends citrus fruits, ginger, white pepper and minerals. Wonderfully fresh and vibrant in the mouth, with flavors similar to the aromas, conveying an impression of vivacity with no excess weight. Closes on a nervy lime zest note and with excellent clarity and length. - 91 Points - International Wine Cellar
