Ataraxia Chardonnay, Hemel-En-Aarde

Founded in 2004 by husband-and-wife team Kevin and Hanli Grant, Ataraxia are already producing some of the best small-volume Chardonnay that South Africa has to offer, utilising the mild Atlantic climate of the Hemel-en-Aarde to create a wine of purity and fine structure. Ataraxia Chardonnay was matured for 10 months in barrique, the wine has a creamy texture and gentle hazelnut complexity that pervades the citrus and stone fruit core. Enjoy with roast chicken or creamy fish based dishes.
